I can do it better than your kids…

No, it’s not politically correct. And if you deeply cherish children’s artwork you probably won’t like this guy… But maybe, maybe some of these thoughts have crossed your mind at some point. Maddox exposes the “terrible inadequacy” of children with his newest work I’m Better Than Your Kids.

In the iron fist of creativity

Posted by on Nov 30, 2011 | No Comments

What’s cool? Well, it’s hard, but try to add an owl, a mad dog and a horseman to your creative outburst. Then you’re on your way to ensnare people into your gloomy reign… Impressive!

Heard of Pin-Ups? Well now meet ”Men-Ups”

Posted by on Oct 17, 2011 | No Comments

Rian Sabean, an American photographer, has in his latest project decided to take men and photograph them in classic pin-up poses.

Bearded guys wearing chore shirts and sports gear are posing it up in what most of us consider feminine poses, in this humorous up-coming calendar.

Weather you see this project as a political or a comical comment, is certainly up to you. I just find it mad hilarious.

Behold the skater, the lumberjack and the mechanic:

Becks – The Green Box Project

Posted by on Jul 7, 2011 | No Comments

What better way to celebrate the launch of Very Digital, than with a great example of a community anchored digital case.

Becks has just launched the Green Box Project. In Becks own words the project is:

“The world’s largest cultural commissioning programme of its kind. Launching the world’s first networked Augmented Reality Gallery and in 7 cities across the globe.”

Little green boxes are placed around the world. When they are viewed through a Becks app called “the key” you see an augmented reality artwork. The project is launched with art pieces commissioned from a wide range of internationally acclaimed artists. The aim is to get artists from all over the world to submit pieces.

The video does a great job of describing the project. If you are interested in seeing how a brand can use community ambassadors to support, build and strengthen their brand, using digital and mobile media, watch it. Alternately you can give us a call: 26824222

Scary monsters at Vesterbro

Posted by on Mar 10, 2011 | No Comments

Do you like scary monsters in the post-it format? Then it’s time to swing by the Mohs exhibit at Sdr. Boulevard, currently exhibiting John Kenns drawings of monsters on the small yellow post-it notes.

John Kenn is animator and has in recent years worked at Anders Morgenthaler’s production company, Copenhagen Bombay, where he among other things, directed the animation films about Carsten and Gitte that will be shown on the DR Ramasjang. He says that he choses the little yellow media because he can get monster stories down on paper so quickly that he is not getting stressed or bored.

The exhibition ends already 12th March so it’s about being quick if you need time to experience the amazing exhibitions on the Mohs exhibit, Sdr. Boulevard 99, Copenhagen V. See you!
